This session is about setting your intentions and focus for your life. The next six months will guide you through a variety of things that affect our health and well-being–things that can be obstacles to the journey. We will be exploring what our individual bodies and minds respond best (and worst) to as a means of helping ourselves become healthier both in body and mind. The program is about finding what works for YOU.
It is a huge help to know what we want that end result to look like so that we can learn to use our responses to meet our desired goals. By knowing what we want our lives and our selves to look like at the end, we can use our new-found knowledge about how we respond to various factors of well-being so that we can move in the direction we want to instead of being a leaf floating wherever the stream takes us.
First, click the link below and print out the following documents. Read through the first page (“Primary Foods”) briefly before you listen to the call instructions.
Next, listen to the call. It’s only about 20 minutes long. Our group sessions run roughly an hour long because there are more people and more interaction, but this one is quick and easy because you have quite a bit of work to do… and you have homework as well. You can click the image below to listen online.
After you’re done listening, be sure to fill out your Circle of Life and proceed to setting at least one goal for your life–preferably six (one for each of the domains listed in your documents). Give careful consideration to places in your Circle of Life that are marked near the center. Are these things that you need to set goals for to achieve better satisfaction in that area of your life? Or are these things that might derail or interfere with other goals you have–in which case you will want to spell out how you will accommodate for that challenge in your goal statement.
When you have done the worksheet for each goal, transfer your goals into complete statements on a separate sheet of paper. Remember to review them daily. Perhaps they will drive your visualizations of “where you want to be at the end of the transformation”.
Remember, you can join the next group call on the schedule that was in your Welcome Packet and Program Agreement as long as that date is not within the next 48 hours.
