So, we had our last delivery of produce as POD (Point of Delivery) coordinators for the organic coop. That means we will no longer have a huge discount on organic produce. It’s a little disturbing and concerning. I’m handing over an unfull group which means there’s no opportunity to divide shares to earn a discount, either.
The thing is, since we had dropped down to one group, it hadn’t been enough food anyway. It was okay during the summer when we had the CSA share on top of the coop but now it’s winter. Now I need two shares and I have to pay for both of them when money’s already tight.
Blech.
Double blech.
