The Basics of Clean Eating.
Are you trying to learn about what Clean Eating is, why this thing or that matters, how to afford eating cleaner, and how to incorporate changes into your diet? Join us each week for four weeks to jumpstart your (and your family’s) health by enabling yourself to make informed choices. This is NOT about “how to eat.” It’s about the differences in how food is produced and processed, and what health implications that could have for you, your kids, your spouse, your parents — anyone you feed. Using this information, you can decide what foods you need to focus on to serve your family’s individual needs.
During our four week journey, you will get evidence-based information in a format you can understand with access to a health coach to ask questions for clarification. We’re going to talk about it all — and all of the misinformation that floats about, the ripple effects… We’re going to stop your head from spinning and get grounded.
We’ll talk about:
- Organic foods – Fruits, vegetables, meats and what “organic” (and other labels) mean when it comes to these foods.We will learn about “organic junk food”, why prices differ for organics, and how to know when it’s worth spending the extra money.
- Discuss the research on how meats affect our health, the difference between how various meats are raised, how those methods affect our health, and how/where to buy meats.
- Food additives, preservatives, GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), how foods are sometimes processed; and all of that will lead nicely into how to read food labels without losing your mind. We’ll discuss foods that are banned in other countries that are legal in the United States.
- Various ways to source your “clean foods,” how to budget, how to buy, how to preserve and anything else related to getting the things you need to eat better within your personal limitations.
All calls are recorded with a link sent to replay them at your convenience and you will be added to a private Facebook group to share ideas and thoughts between calls. Of course, you always have access to your personal health coach by e-mail as well.

The cost of this information packaged and delivered quickly and understandably is $100.
If you are interested in running the original 4-week course (which can be expanded to 5 or 6 weeks by adding content specific to your needs) for a group, please contact me for pricing and availability. Some of the groups that have successfully run this program include teachers who arrive one hour early once/week to attend, and mothers’ groups who hire a sitter to watch their children while they attend the talks. The possibilities are endless!
