This area of the site is dedicated to free resources to help get you on your path to good health and wellness. Some of these resources are just educational on things like how to set goals or how to find healthy foods. These are your first five steps for any given issue — things that you should try before looking for more professional help. Whether you work with me, another health coach or another kind of health practitioner, these should be the first things that you’re asked to do; and there’s no reason you can’t do them yourself.
Personalized Health Coaching
Have you ever received good advice that you were unable to follow? Has your doctor ever recommended a lifestyle change that you found to be unsustainable, or that didn’t make sense? Have you ever found yourself with advice that you didn’t understand and couldn’t get someone to explain clearly? Have you ever wanted something in your life, but found you couldn’t achieve it alone? Have you ever wanted someone to walk you through the grocery store or help you set up your pantry to help make health more attainable?
Health Coaches are knowledgeable advisors who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.
Jumpstart and One-Day Programs
Maybe you’re just looking for a quick hit — some short, focused help. My Jumpstart or One Month Mini Makeover (“Ommm”), and one-day programs are for you. These programs can be 3 or 6 hours in length and cover a broad range of general health topics including an introduction to eating whole foods, kitchen clean-out assistance and ingredient education, Cooking Together programs to help teach you some tips and tricks to eating good foods, or very focused primers on specialized diets.
Topics can be tailored to your needs; if you have a few friends that might want to join in to split the cost of the program, contact us about group programs or engagements.
Special Diet Support
Has your doctor recommended a diet change that has your head spinning? Have you been newly diagnosed with a condition you’re finding easier to ignore than to start working on? Maybe you’re getting the sense that eating around a specific type of food might help you or your family but are unsure about how to implement it or the potential health ramifications. Have you ever found yourself with advice that you didn’t understand and couldn’t get someone to explain clearly? Have you ever wanted someone to walk you through the grocery store or help you set up your kitchen to help make health more attainable?
